BSc (hons), Adv. Dip. Con, Dip. Hyp. Devin
is committed to helping people to reach their full potential. He has
experience working with a wide range of issues from addiction through
to personal and spiritual development.
His training includes an advanced (level 4) Diploma in counselling certified
by the CPCAB, a diploma in holistic
hypnotherapy (completed with distinction), level 2 certificates in both
counselling skills and studies and numerous specialist workshops and
shorter courses on specific therapeutic issues.
He has worked professionally in a number of specialist agencies that
tackle some of the more difficult areas such as social exclusion amongst
teenagers and addictions counselling.
Devin currently works as an addictions counsellor in one of Europe’s
leading addictions treatment centres and teaches addictions counselling
in a partnership between the Centre for Addictions Treatment Studies
and Bath University. He also offers his services as Buddhist Chaplain
at HMP Exeter.
Clinical audits and supervision conducted within agencies in which he
has worked have repeatedly described his performance as ‘Excellent’.
Devin is a fully accredited member of the BACP (British
Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and as such works
within their Code of Ethics, receives regular supervision and is covered
by professional insurance
